Nolan Koen, Sr., 81 of Frankville passed from this life Friday, April 6, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Viewing will be from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM Sunday, April 8, 2018 at St. Stephens Funeral Home in St. Stephens, AL. Funeral Services will be from 11:00 AM ~ 12:00 Noon for viewing then 12:00 Noon Funeral at New Hope Church in Frankville, AL. Bro. Darrel Butts and Bro. Jimmie Butts will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. 

Mr. Koen was a native and resident of Frankville, AL. He was married to his wife Betty Koen for 35 years before her passing in 1993. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Betty Joyce Koen, Parents, Perry L. Koen and Willie A. Mosley Koen. Brothers, Perry W. Koen, Perry J. Koen, Jimmy Koen, Andrew Koen, Jessie Koen. Sisters, Arrie Wynn, Mary Dee Lois, Addie Dunn, Daughter In Law, Mary Ann Koen, Great Grandchildren, Zyiah Morris, Overstreet Twins.

He is survived by Five Children, Son, Nolan Lamar Koen, Jr. of Frankville, AL, Daughters, Betty Rose (Al) Hoven of Frankville, AL, Minnie Fay (Clay) Parnell of Frankville, AL, Lila Louise (Phil) Williams of Laton Hill, AL, Lisa Elaine (Barry) Connelly of Poughkeepsie, NY. Twenty Five Grandchildren, Twenty Eight Great Grandchildren and One Great-Great Grandchild.
