Virgie Marie (Odom) Goodman

Virgie Marie Odom Goodman, 78, passed away at her home on January 27, 2018.  She was a native of Alabama and resided in Citronelle, AL.  Ms Goodman was the ninth of twelve children.  She was a member of Deer Park United Methodist Church and was always the first to take food to families when they would lose a loved one.  Ms Marie retired from nursing after thirty years and spent a lot of her time sitting with the elderly. She loved to dance, fish, decorate her home, and had a passion for cooking.  Ms Marie was very loving but was known to speak her mind too!  She also loved her family and enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking coffee.

Wake will be Wednesday evening, January 31, 2018, 6:00-9:00 PM at Ms Marie's home, 7840 Bud Odom Road, Citronelle, AL.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 1, 2018, 11:00 AM, Deer Park United Methodist Church.  Officiating will be Bro. Dennie McDavid, Bro. Tommy Gaillard and Bro. Joe Goodman with St. Stephens Funeral Home Directing.
