Gwendolyn Prine Obituary

Gwendolyn Earline Prine passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile, Al.

Mrs. Prine was a beautiful and caring woman that always put the Lord first in everything she did. She was a faithful member of New Hope Methodist Church in Frankville, Al. She also enjoyed being able to help the girls of the church at Camp Beno every year. She loved sharing the word of the Lord.

Mrs. Gwen loved spending quality with her family. Her husband, Clayton, her children and grandchildren were her heart. The grandchildren would fondly call her Me-Me. She loved spending quality time with all of them.

Mrs. Prine enjoyed helping others in her community. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and going to the beach. Her favorite flower was the yellow rose, and she enjoyed listening to her windchimes. She also loved to plunder through things to find treasures. She enjoyed plundering so much, she opened her own business and called it The Plunder Box.

Mrs. Gwen loved all of God's children. She enjoyed being able to help others. When she would hug you and tell you that she loved you, she meant it and you could feel that love. She was definitely the salt of the earth. She made this world a better place.

Mrs. Prine will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Mrs. Gwen is survived by: her husband, Clayton Prine; father, Needham Henson; sons, Michael (Jennifer) Prine and Paul (Brianna) Daniels; daughters, Alexis Perryman, Brittney (Josh) Butner and Mindy Wilson; brothers, Dean (Melissa) Henson, Ernie (Bridgett) Henson and Hawk (Marcus) Henson; grandchildren, Lawrence Wells, Michael Prine Jr,.  Mrs. Prine is preceded in death by: her mother, Gail Henson and her grandparents, L.G. and Winnie Carpenter and Collie and Earlene Henson.
