Yvonne (Tarleton) Andrews

Yvonne Andrews, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

     Mrs. Andrews had a heart of gold. No matter what you needed, if she had it, it was yours.

   She loved her family with all that was in her. Even when she was sick, she went to the grands and great grands events, ballgames, pageants, weddings or whatever was going on. She loved each and every one unconditionally.

     Mrs. Andrews was so good and so loved that forever would not be long enough to convey the beautiful person she was. She was even Nana Vonn to those who weren't her grandchildren. And cook, oh my goodness. She was one of the best, with no one holding a candle to her Gumbo. 

     Mrs. Yvonne enjoyed the beach, listening to the waves and walking in the sand. There is no doubt that she will forever remain in the hearts of those who love her, and she has forever left her prints on this world. 

     Mrs. Andrews is survived by: Her sons: Terry L. Andrews, James S. Andrews and Robert (Melissa) Andrews; her daughter: Lisa K. Bowling; her brother: Dicky (Brenda) Tarleton; her grandchildren: Chuck Andrews, Rick (Jill) Andrews, Nikki (Shane) Sturdivant, Katie Syphrit, Dillon (Taylor) Hall, Tyler (Caty) Andrews, Sydni Andrews, Allie Hardee, Whitney Reed, Miranda (Tony) Criswell and Holt Stackhouse; 15 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-great Grandchildren

     Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by: Her husband: James Chester Andrews Jr; her parents: Virgil A and Katie Lee Tarleton; her sister: (infant) Valeria Annette Tarleton; her grandparents: Richard "Dick"  and Lettie E. Tarleton and Edward Irby and Annie Bell Weaver and her best friends: Jewel Dailey and Aleta Pugh. 

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Al with Bro. Terry Hutto officiating.
