Alba "Ray" Tolbert

Alba "Ray" Tolbert, 66, passed away at his sister's home in Gainestown, AL, on January 31, 2018.  He attended Mt. Gilead Baptist church.  Ray owned and operated "Tolbert's Tree Trimming Service."  He enjoyed coon and deer hunting and fishing.  Ray enjoyed drag racing and mud bogs.  He raised horses and participated in rodeos, roping and riding.  Ray was a lifetime member of the NRA.  He was a homebody and enjoyed reading Northern Mechanics.  Ray loved his family, nieces and nephews.  He had a many friends and enjoyed watching Alabama Football.

A Grave Side Service will be held Friday, February 2, 2018, 10:00 AM, at Union Baptist Church, Allen-Walker Road, Grove Hill, AL.

Bro. William Allison will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
