Barbara Louise (Howard) Parnell

Barbara Louise Howard Parnell, 76, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019. She was a native of Washington County, AL and a resident of Tibbie, AL. Barbara was born into a large family of 10 children and was the oldest daughter in the family. Her family was a close-knit family. Barbara loved to have family get-togethers and loved when all her family and friends would visit and socialize. She was an avid reader especially recipe books, they were her favorite to read. Barbara made sure to try out all the new recipes she would discover. She retired from Atochem Chemical Plant in Axis, AL where she was a safety coordinator. Barbara also enjoyed Mardi Gras season, she was a long time member of The Order of Athena Mardi Gras Association. Barbara thoroughly enjoyed discussing politics and keeping up with current events. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2019, 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM, at Chalker Memorial United Methodist Church, Tibbie, AL. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Holly Morales officiating and St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Robert Lee Parnell Memorial Cemetery.
