Bonnie Pearl (Robert) Sticher

Bonnie Pearl Roberts Sticher, 92, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019. She was a Jackson High School graduate. Ms. Bonnie married her husband, Buddy Sticher, on September 5, 1947. They were married over 66 years, when her husband passed away. They always lived in the Walker Springs area. Ms.Bonnie was a life long member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where she taught beginners Sunday School for many years. She loved to read, watch birds, and spend time with her grands & great grands. She loved blueberries from her blueberry bushes. Ms. Bonnie worked at Jackson High School for many years in the nutrition department. One of her most memorable times was when she visited her son, Alan, in Egypt and the Holy Land.

Visitation will be Monday, February 4, 2019, 1:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Walker Springs, AL. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. William Allison & Bro. Wayne Jones officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Gilead Community Cemetery in Walker Springs, AL. Services will be directed by St. Stephens Funeral Home.
