Edward "Eddie Dean" Elmore, 61, passed away on January 20, 2020. He was a native of Washington County, Alabama and a resident of Frankville, AL. He attended Sunflower United Methodist Church. He graduated from Leroy High School where he played Football and Baseball. Eddie Dean was employed with Lathan Funeral Home at one time and later worked for the State Department. Eddie Dean also worked as a operator for Olin Chemical and later worked for a Chemical Company in Wyoming. He liked to fish and hunt Deer, but his favorite was Turkey hunting. Eddie Dean was an avid Auburn fan who enjoyed traveling and playing cards. He loved for friends to visit him and he stayed in touch with them by social media. Eddie Dean's favorite time was being with family, especially grandchildren. He was loved dearly by his family and community.
Services will be held at New Hope Methodist Church, Frankville, AL, on Wednesday January 22, 2020. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Bro. Jimmie Butts and Bro. Andrew Parker with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
