Frankie Hutcheson Obituary

Frankie Almetia Cantrell Hutcheson, 77, passed away on April 25, 2019.  She was a native of Athens, Tennessee and a resident of Jackson, Alabama.  Frankie graduated from Roane County High School. She met Royce and corresponded with him for three years, only seeing him six times during those three years.  They were married in Iuka, MS.  The Air Force flew him back to Spokane, Washington State, but she had to travel the three thousand miles alone on a train. They lived in North Alabama for several years, then South Pittsburg TN, then to Jackson, AL in 1968.  Frankie was a member of Jackson Church of Christ.  She was a seamstress and enjoyed working with flowers in her yard, cross stitching and puzzles of any kind. Frankie worked with a group that made love bears to give to hospitalized children.  Her "Grands and Great Grands" called her "MaMaw".

Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019, 10:30 ~ 12:00 Noon, at Jackson Church of Christ, with Funeral Service to follow.  Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Walker Springs Road, Jackson, Alabama.
