Gerald Raymond Hobbs

Gerald Raymond Hobbs, 78, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019. He was a laid back, easy going, humble, "man of a few words", type of man. Gerald served in the National Guard for 16 years between Grove Hill, AL, and Georgia. Gerald later retired as a Truck Driver where he drove cross country for many years. He loved wood working, spending time with his family, and spending time at home. Gerald could remember times and dates like no one else, he would never forget anything. His favorite town of all was Macon, GA.  He loved visiting there every chance he got. Gerald will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019, 1:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM, at Bassett Creek Baptist Church in Grove Hill, AL. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. William Gibbons officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
