Grady Cleo Duke, 93, passed away on April 15, 2019. He was a native of Alabama and resident of Grove Hill. He married Hilda Earline Dixon Duke in 1946 and they were married over 68 years. Grady worked at McGuire's as a saw operator. Later he worked at Vanity Fair as a binder and also ran the box machine. He was a life long member of Union Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. Grady would always grow a vegetable garden and shared it with family and friends. He really enjoyed "tinkering" with stuff and fix it..especially a Fifties Chevrolet pickup truck. One would say Grady was a homebody, country boy (man) that enjoyed the simpler things in life. Yes, he was very particular about everything....but he loved family reunions and spending time with his grandchildren. Grady was a wonderful husband and father and his family loved him very much.
