John Charles Guy

John Charles Guy, 75, passed away July 25, 2018 at USA Hospital in Mobile, AL. He was a 1963 graduate of Coffeeville High School. Charles and his wife Ramona dated for three years and was married for fifty two years. They had one son and one daughter. Charles loved his children and grandchildren. He especially loved hearing the grands call him "Poppies and Papa."  He retired from Boise and was a member of Grove Hill Baptist Church. Charles grew gourds and used them for purple martin houses. He considered himself as the "Purple Martin Landlord." He also built blue bird boxes. He will be sadly missed by all.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 28, 2018, 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM, Grove Hill Baptist Church. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery Grove Hill, AL. Officating will  be Rev. Tony Meinhardt and Rev. Butch Starks with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
