Joyce Virginia (Gilpin) McCully

Joyce Virginia Gilpin McCully, 55, died at her home in Wagarville, AL, on July 30, 2018.  She attended Leroy High School and was a native and resident of Washington County.  Joyce loved flowers and was a wonderful cook.  She was famous for her cornbread.  All of the grandchildren loved her cornbread, (so did many others).  Joyce was the third of four siblings.  She was a homebody that loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.  In September, Joyce and her husband, Mike, would have been married forty years.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, 10-11:00 AM, Ebenezer UMC, Wagarville, AL with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Officiating will be  Rev. Phillip Howard with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
