Percy Ray Roney

Percy Ray Roney, 61, passed away May 23, 2018 in Huntsville, AL. Ray was a lifetime resident of Wagarville, AL. Ray and his wife Shirley were married for 33 1/2 years, she was the love of his life. He enjoyed spending time and goofing off with his grandkids. Ray was a die hard Auburn fan and loved watching them playing football. He also loved to fish and take his grandkids fishing. Ray loved his family and his family loved him.

He had been employed by G.A. West for the past 11+ years. All of the guys he worked with were always more than coworkers or friends to Ray, they were all considered family. He took great pride in his work and lived for his wife and kids. He will be greatly missed by many, many close friends, colleagues, and family.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 10:00 AM ~ 12:00 Noon, Wagarville Baptist Church followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. Officating will be Bro. Jimmie Roberts and Bro. Danny Wilson with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Wagarville Baptist Church Cemetery.
