Rev. David Jones Obituary

Rev. David Earl Jones, 78, passed away on April 21, 2019. He was a native of Hobson, Alabama. Rev. Jones preached at several Baptist churches in Clarke County during his lifetime including, Centerpointe, Antioch, New Prospect, Bethel, and West Bend. He was one semester short of a four year degree in psychology from Livingston. Rev. Jones retired from Ciba where he held the position of a labor pool foreman. He enjoyed hunting in years past and still enjoyed fishing.

Seven Brothers and Two Sisters

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019, 10 ~ 11:00 AM, St. Stephens Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow. Interment will be at Jones-Beech Cemetery in Hobson, AL. Officiating will be Rev. Ben Posey.

John Ross Harrell, Hunter Batley, Christopher Waltman, Marty Pierson, Derrell Jones, Stephen Scoggins
