Ronnie Lamar Sullivan, Sr.
Devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and loved by all who met him, passed from this life into his eternal home on January 11, 2019 peacefully in his home. His family and friends were his reason for living and loved each one of them with all his heart. He served our country in the Marine Corp and Vietnam War, he also served as a Sheriff Deputy for many years protecting our community where he made a host of friends. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years Ophelia Turner Sullivan, Three Sons ~ Ronnie Lamar (Penny) Sullivan, Jr. of Fairhope, AL, Billy Charles Sullivan of Chatom, AL, Michael Rex (Stacie) Sullivan of Chatom, AL, Seven Grandchildren ~ Dustin (Elizabeth) Sullivan, Kemberly Sullivan, Constance (Johnathan) Goldman, Donald (Lakon) Sullivan, Michael (Boo) Sullivan, Hunter (Shelby) Sullivan, John Dylan (JD) Sullivan, Three Step Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren ~ Natalie, Madison, Christopher Jackson (CJ), Layton, Brody, Haisley Three Step Great Grandchildren ~ Brantley Keith (BK), Jack, Molleigh, Two Sisters ~ Rosa Sullivan Dunlap of South Haven, MS & Carol Sullivan (Ronnie) Turner of South Haven, MS, One Brother ~ Billy Wayne "Bo" (Bonnie) Sullivan of Olive Branch, MS and host of nieces, nephews and aunts. He is preceded in death by his Mother Daphne Louise Sullivan, Father Billy Ezra Sullivan, Brothers Stanley Arthur Sullivan and Donald Wade Sullivan. Services will be held at Chatom Church of God, Visitation (Wake) Monday Night, January 14, 2019, 6:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM and Funeral Services January 15, 2019, 2:00 PM. Bro. Johnathan Allen Brown and Wife Sister Naomi Brown and Bro. Michael Ellison will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Chatom Church of God Cemetery.
