Rosie Lea (Gates) Roberts

Rosie Lea Gates Roberts, 85, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. Rosie and her husband Richard Roberts were married on September 1, 1951. She would always cook him "home cooked" meals. Rosie loved being in the Homemakers Club. She also loved filling a freezer or canning all the vegetables that Richard would grow in the garden. Rosie hand quilted like her mom & mother in law and passed it down to her daughter, Clara. She also liked to crochet, she made many baby booties and baby blankets for those having babies. Rosie loved her family and they all loved and thought the world of her, she is going to be sadly missed by all.

Visitation will be Monday, February 25, 2019, 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM, at Tompkins Baptist Church, Grove Hill, AL. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Bro. Claude Agee will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Tompkins Baptist Church Cemetery.
