William Jimmy Smith

William Jimmy Smith, 67, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL.  Jimmy was the third of six children. He was a member of First Baptist Church St. Stephens.  He spent a year in college and had a Barber's License.    Recently Jimmy was a truck driver for Western Express.  He had traveled from coast to coast.  Jimmy was extremely gifted in music and shared his wisdom teaching others how to play certain instruments.  His favorite was the base guitar.  Jimmy also wrote music and recorded a record.   He was very knowledgeable in the bible and loved reading God's word.  Jimmy was always quick to remind all of us, "God is in Control."

Visitation will be Monday, July 16, 2018, 1:00 - 2:00 PM, First Baptist Church St. Stephens.  Funeral Service  will follow at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Officiating will be Bro. Gary Patrick with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
