Albert Daniel Wynne, Sr.

Albert Daniel Wynne, Sr., 81, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was a 1958 graduate of Satsuma High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Leroy. Albert worked off shores on oil rigs and was on the volunteer fire department in Leroy for several years. He was even named Fireman of the Year in 2006. Albert & his wife, Myrtle, were awarded "The United Way Washington County 2006 Volunteer Award." One of Albert's favorite hobbies was fishing. He liked fresh water fishing, saltwater fishing and he liked crabbing. He was also an avid reader. Albert's favorite books were western's  by Louis L'Amour. Once he could not read anymore Albert would buy the audible tapes to listen to. Albert loved family gatherings especially  for Thanksgiving. Everywhere he went he wore a hat, even when he went to church he would always wear his hat and hang it on a special nail until church service was over.

Graveside Service will be Saturday, August 21, 2021, 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Leroy New Cemetery. Bro. Dave Delegal will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
