Andre Michelle Goolsby

Andre Michelle Goolsby, passed away at her home in Middleburg, Fl on Tuesday, April 27, 2024.       

     Andre was a precious soul with an infectious laugh. She was a true inspiration to others. She found peace and contentment in encouraging others. She could light up any room she entered with her bright smile.

     Family was the cornerstone of Andre's life. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. Her father was her hero and she brought true meaning to the term "Daddy's Girl." 

     Andre's joy will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those she touched.

     Psalms 23  The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth my beside the still waters.

3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

     Andre is survived by: her stepmother, Carolyn Lathan Goolsby; Her stepdad, Tom Seymer; brothers, Martin (Ashley) Goolsby, Mark (TenaLee) Jackson, Chad (Tracey) Jackson and Rennie Jackson; nephews, Mason, Grant and nieces, Marylen and Laura.

     Andre is preceded in death by: her father, James Dwight Goolsby; mother, Celetha Apline Seymer . A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Al. from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Jackson, with Martin Goolsby and Bro. Benny Harrison officiating and interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Al.
