Brenda Gail (Bennett) Salter

Brenda Gail Bennett Salter, 76, of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away on January 29, 2021. She was born on October 16, 1944 in Cullman, AL to Bufus and Maedell Bennett. For years she worked as a seamstress. She spent many years cooking for Grove Hill Baptist Church, The Farmer's Federation and The Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of Barton Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bufus and Maedall Bennett, one brother Jerry Bennett, and grandson Aaron Salter.

She is survived by her kids: Shelly Dubose, Wayne Salter (Sharon), Bobby Salter (Steffani), Mary "Puddin" Clark (Jerry). Grandchildren: Crystal Holtzapfel (Ryan), Robyn Salter (Dustin), Lara Baggett (Martin), Amber Salter, Kristian Gates, Shelton Salter, Ericka Madden, Kali Lovelace (Shane). Great Grandchildren: Madison, Hadli, Ariel, Mylli, Whitney, Addison, Kasen, Noah, Nolan, Eden, Nate & Kiley. One brother Raymond Bennett (Nanette). Two nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2021, 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM, at Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill, AL. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Bro. Tommy White officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
