Mr. Barnes passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at his home in Millry, Alabama. Beyond his military accolades, Brian was a gentle soul, quiet and reserved, who found joy in the company of children and animals. Brian's devotion to his family was deep and abiding, and his presence will be profoundly missed. Rest easy, Soldier. Your service, kindness, and love leave an enduring mark, and we thank you for a life lived with courage and heart.
