Clarence Richard Thompson

Clarence "Ricky" Thompson, 61, passed away at his home in Jackson, Al, on Monday, January 8, 2024.

     Mr. Thompson was a man who enjoyed his solitude. You could find him in the woods hunting, or on the river fishing. He was an expert outdoorsman. He was also an avid Alabama fan.

   Mr. Thompson was known to his family and friends as Ricky, and his grandchildren fondly called him Papa Rick. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

      Mr. Thompson is survived by: his mother, Arden Elizabeth Thompson; his son, Cole (Samantha) Thompson; his daughter, Kayla Thompson; his brothers, William "Rocky" (Cris) Thompson Jr, and Terry Thompson; his sisters, Teresa (Leonard) Wright, Renee Price and Tammye (Lee) Peterson and his grandchildren, Trent Thompson and Coltin Thompson.

      Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by: His father, William Leroy Thompson Sr.
