Clifton "Cliff" Jones Obituary
Clifton Bruce Jones "Cliff" passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 65. He was married to his Beauty Terri for 33 years. Cliff loved the movie Beauty and The Beast because he thought of himself the Beast and Terri as the Beauty. He was born in Sherman, Texas at The Perrin Air Force Base. Cliff was a native of Jackson, Alabama for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Leroy. He was a graduate of Jackson High School. Cliff learned at a very young age the value of a dollar. He was a hard worker beginning in his early teens working in the school cafeteria, produce manager at Winn Dixie & Delchamps and ending at Power South "AEC" as a plant supervisor where he gave 36 years of service. He was determined to provide for his family whether it be supervising in a plant or hauling papers for The Mobile Press Register. Cliff was a very wise man and known for his quick "wit" and didn't "sugar coat" nothing. He had many hobbies which included: collecting old cars, car shopping, loved swinging, collecting clocks, watching criminal shows, watching westerns, and spending time with his family. Cliff, Husband, Daddy, PawPaw, will be greatly missed.
