Dana Denise (Sullivan) Parnell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dana Denise Parnell. Dana peacefully departed this world on September 9, 2025, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.

Above all, Dana cherished spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren, who fondly called her "Granny." She found immense joy in their laughter and love, and her presence around the family table will be deeply missed. Dana had a deep love for not only her family but her friends as well and to all her friends she was lovingly called "Deno." 

A devoted Alabama Crimson Tide fan, Dana wore her team colors with pride and never missed a chance to cheer them on. She delighted in the smallest outdoor adventures, especially trips to the river with her loving husband, Brent. Her furry companions, her beloved Chihuahuas, were never far from her side, and she showered them with affection.

Dana was known for her vibrant spirit and sense of adventure. In her younger years, she enjoyed attending concerts, even managing to sneak her sons into an Aerosmith show when they were only 12 and 13 years old—an escapade that is still lovingly recounted by her family.

Though Dana began her journey as a city girl, she transitioned effortlessly into country life, embracing it with open arms. Her warmth, humor, and kindness touched all who knew her, and there is no doubt that she will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of her company.

Dana Denise Parnell’s legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of her loved ones. May she rest in peace.

Services will be Friday September 12, 2025, at St. Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, visitation from 12:00 P.M  to 1:00 P.M Funeral to follow  with Interment to follow at Clearwater Cemetery in Wagarville, Alabama.

Dana is survived by; Father, Morris Sullivan Sr. Husband; Brent Parnell. Sons; Daniel (Terra) Williams and Darren (Amanda) Williams. Brother; Morris Sullivan Jr. Grandchildren; Taylor, Derika, Grey, Olivia, Nicholas, Derrick. and Mason. Greatgrandchildren; Blake, Hazel and Greyson.

She is Preceded in Death by; Mother; Valeria Sullivan. Son; Derrick Williams and Infant Sister. 

Officiating the service will be Bro, Glenn Sullivan
