David James Nichols

David James Nichols, 69, of Jackson, Al, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

      Mr. Nichols was a long time resident of Jackson, Al. He worked at Ciba Geigy, which has been renamed to BASF, for 43 years until the day he retired. He was married to the love of his life, Deborah Nichols, until her passing.  He was a true outdoorsman with an outstanding green thumb. He loved gardening and among his favorites were hydrangeas and roses. He enjoyed woodworking and building odd and end things for his family. He was an avid movie buff, and he also enjoyed all of his many collectibles. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

   A Graveside Service will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Al on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM with Bro. Mike Ballard officiating.
