David Gadson Smith

David Gadson Smith, 48, of Robertsdale, AL formerly of St. Stephens, AL passed away April 16, 2020.

David was a devoted husband and father. He loved to spend his spare time at his camp in Lower Peach Tree, fishing and hunting with all his family. While he was in high school David played a trombone and a tuba in the band and he also played football.

David worked his whole life operating heavy equipment. He always called them "Big Tonka Toys". He loved them. David had just got his CDL license about a year ago. He was so proud.

David was a kind soul and was always willing to help others. He never met a stranger. He will be missed by many. We loved him dearly. We will see you again , my dear!

A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, April 21, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church St. Stephens, St. Stephens, AL. Bro. Richard Dees and Bro. Drexel Copeland will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
