Diane Burge Obituary

Diane Valerie Hayden Burge, 80, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. Diane was born in Portsmouth, England. She graduated from school in England. Diane met a man that was in the Navy and later became his wife. After getting married Diane moved to the States and had 5 children. She was a devoted wife and mother and provided childcare for many children in her neighborhood. Diane was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Stephens.  She was faithful to her church and worked Vacation Bible School every year. Diane loved to collect Blue Willow dishes and ornaments. She worked hard helping to grow gardens and can vegetables. She had a decorative garden full of flowers and fruit trees. Diane had 2 homes and while she lived in her chosen country she also loved visiting her home in England. She loved fishing, classic music, cooking, and family get togethers. Diane had a great sense of humor and loved everyone. She & her husband would always make sure Christmas was wonderful for her children. Diane was loved by so many and will be sadly missed by all.
