Donald "Donnie" Huey Carpenter

Donald "Donnie" Huey Carpenter, 75, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his home surrounded by all his family. Donnie was a native of Washington County, AL and a resident of Millry, AL. He was a graduate of Millry High School. Donnie loved to hunt and fish. He especially loved cooking for the community during election time. At one time he enjoyed watching and cheering for The Alabama Crimson Tide. He also enjoyed tending to cows, raising a garden, and always enjoyed giving to the community. Donnie was a family man, he loved spending all the time he could with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Millry Methodist Church. Donnie will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Services will be held at New Bethel Holiness Church, Millry, AL, on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Bro. JoJo Weaver and Bro. Mark Guy with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Providence Cemetery in Millry, AL.
