Doris Walker Bayles, 92, was called home, surrounded by her family on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Mrs. Bayles was a Godly woman who loved her family. She loved reading her Bible daily, and listening to gospel music. She enjoyed watching the cardinals out in her yard, Her biggest passion was crocheting. She could crochet just about anything, and she did.
Mrs. Bayles adored all of her grandchildren. She had grands, great grand and great-great grands. They brought pure joy to her life. Her eyes would light up every time any of them would come to visit. They all fondly called her Grandma Bayles. Mrs. Bayles was very active up until four years ago. After having Covid, she became bed ridden, but she still loved her visits with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Mrs. Bayles is survived by: her son, James W. (Brenda) Bayles Jr; daughters, Janelle (Wayne) Brown, Patricia McKee; brother, David Walker; grandchildren, Melanie (Jason) Massey, Ashley (Nicki) McKee, Ryan (Savannah), Micheal (Stephanie) and Cody (Kelsey) Bayles, Debra (Chris) Outlaw, Jennifer (Blake) Huie, and Heather (Scott) Gannon; twenty-two great grandchildren, and fifteen great-great grandchildren.
