Doris Dean (Cooper) McILwain

Doris Dean Cooper McILwain, 86, Passed away on October 23, 2022. She was a native of Alabama and a resident of Washington County. Ms Doris was a graduate of Vigor High School in Mobile, AL. She was a homemaker, who raised vegetable gardens for most of her life. Ms Doris enjoyed sewing and working with her flowers. She also liked to travel, watch Alabama football games, and Jimmy Swaggart on TV.  Her favorite food was seafood. She always had "Little companions" (Fur Babies).

A graveside service was held on Monday, October 24, 2022, 10:00 a.m., at Sims Chapel Methodist Church, in Sims Chapel, Alabama. Rev. Justin Sullivan officiated with St. Stephens Funeral home directing. Interment was in the church cemetery. 

Pallbearers were her four sons.
