Earl Junior King, 88, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Earl attended Long Creek School and joined the Navy right out of school. He served on the Destroyer U.S.S. Uhlmann in the Korean War. Earl opened Jackson Glass in 1964 and retired from the glass business after 33 years in 1997. He was a member of the Jackson Auxiliary police and a charter member of the AlaBigbee Bassmasters club. He was also on the Board of Directors of the International Senepol Cattle Breeders Association and traveled all over the world promoting the Senepol breed.

Services will be Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Walker Springs, AL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Bro. William Allison & Bro. Johnny Lawrence will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at Centerpoint Cemetery in Coffeeville, AL.
