Earline Hudson Foster passed away at Dekalb Reginal Medical Center in Ft. Payne, Al on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the age of 91.
Ms. Earline was born in Wagarville, Al to her parents Woodie and Isabelle Hudson. She worked odd jobs through the years, one of them being at Vanity Fair in Jackson, Al, until she decided to go to college. She gratuated college at the age of 52 with a Masters degree in Psychology.
Ms. Earline enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, reading and she was an avid swimmer. She later moved to Ider, Al to be close to her daughter and her family. She was a devoted and active member of New Life Ministries, where she loved helping the people of her church.
Survived by: her daughter, Beverly (Jimmy) Allday, her grandchildren, Barry Randall Allday and Carla Alane (Timmy) Walker, her great-grandchildren, Alana Michelle (Chase) Burnette, Jaclyn Kay (Jonathan) Tipton and Timothy Colton Grey Walker, and her great great-grandchild, Braxton Grey Burnette, and host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: her parents, Woodie and Isabelle Hudson, her brother, Woodie Gene Hudson, her sisters, Sybil Wilson, Louise Link, Mildred Powell, Joyce Peters and Miriam Shepherd, and her grandchild, infant daughter of Jimmy and Beverly Allday.
Visitation will be held at St, Stephens Funeral Home in St. Stephens, Al on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 11:00 am. Funeral at 12:00 pm with Bro. Glenn Sullivan officiating and Interment to follow at Wagarville Baptist Church Cemetery in Wagarville, Al.
A memorial service will be held at New Life Ministries in Ider, Al on September 30, 2023 at 4:00 pm.
