Elaine (Roney) Guy

     Elaine Roney Guy passed away at Jackson Medical Center in Jackson, Al on September 20, 2023 at the age of 63.

   Mrs. Elaine was born at Jackson Medical Center to her parents, Ralph and Harriett Roney. Although she was born with a disability, it was no challenge for her. She could still do all the things she set out to do, including playing softball. She attended Leroy High School, where she met the love her life there, Allen Guy. They were inseparable all through high school. They were later married and had two beautiful children. 

     Mrs. Elaine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also never missed an Alabama game or her Monday night wrestling. She was always there for anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on or just someone to listen. She had the most infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room. She meant so much to so many and all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.

Survived by: her husband, Allen Guy, her daughter, Beverly (Vincent Smith) Guy, her son, Brandon Allen Guy, her father, Ralph Roney, her brothers, O'Neal (Debbie) Roney and Wayne (Jennifer) Roney, her sisters, Lynn (Tony) Powell and Erica (Mike) Smith and her grandchildren, Adycen Smith and Ryker Smith.

Preceded in Death by: her mother, Harriett Roney and her Sister, Beverly Roney Collins

Visitation will be Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Clearwater Assembly of God in Wagarville, Al at 11:00 am, Funeral at 12:00 pm and interment to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
