John Oscar Daszczuk passed away on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, at the age of 76.
John was born on December 16th, 1948, in Pensacola, Florida and was a long-time resident of Deer Park, Alabama. He served in the United States Air Force. John was retired from Scott Paper Co. and then worked as a handyman for many years. He was called to the ministry in 1990 and was the pastor of County Line Missionary Baptist Church at the time of his passing.
John is preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Iris Daszczuk; brothers: Robert Clark and William Daszczuk.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Catherine (Richardson) Daszczuk; his children: Frankie (Melissa) Daszczuk, John W. (Danielle) Daszczuk, Edith (Thomas) Ard; grandchildren: Tyler Daszczuk, Shyann Daszczuk, Savannah Daszczuk, Brody Daszczuk, Clay Daszczuk, Dawn Daszczuk, Hunter Daszczuk, Blake Daszczuk, Noah Nettles, Cierra Batista, Catherine Ard, and Carolyn Ard, great-grandchildren: Oaklynn Daszczuk, Cohen Criswell, Julius Batista, Cayman Batista, and Emory Batista; sisters: Barbara (Bobby) Manning, Catherine (James) Still, Anita Kay Berrian, and sister-in-law, Linda Clark.
Pall Bearers: Bobby Garland, Lee McNaughton, Jeremy McNaughton, John Paul Manning, Austin Hall, and CJ Strickland.
Honorary Pallbearers: Robert McNaughton, Walter McNaughton, and Wesley Richardson.
Services will be Monday September 22, 2025, at County Line Missionary Baptist Church in Citronelle, Alabama.
Visitation is at 10:00 A.M with the Funeral to follow at 11:00 A.M
Interment will be at County Line Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery following the Funeral.
Officiating the service will be Elder William Davis and Elder Skip Holland.
