Elga Goodman

Elga Goodman, 86, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022. Elga was the youngest of two brothers. He went to Chilton School which was a 1 room school until it closed. Elga and Lucille were married in 1954 after a 6 week courtship. He loved to coon hunt with his coon dogs. In his lifetime he had over 30 coon dogs. Elga would also train coon dogs for other people. He also built spiral staircases and enjoyed doing for other people. Elga was a supervisor for Dumas Manufacturer for 43 years.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chilton Community, Grove Hill, AL. Bro. Mickey Stephens will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
