Elizabeth Rachael Brown, 41, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2023 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Fl.
Mrs. Brown was proud to work as a 911 dispatcher in Washington Co. She loved her job and took it very seriously. She had a true calling for helping to save lives in her community and for seven years she dedicated her life to being a first responder. She took her last call on December 22, 2023 and her End of Watch was December 28, 2023.
Mrs. Brown was a beautiful soul that loved life. She loved her husband and children very much and enjoyed spending as much time with her family as she could.
Mrs. Brown enjoyed relaxing with a good book or sitting on the couch watching a horror movie. Her favorite movie was The Nightmare Before Christmas. She also enjoyed spending time gardening, watching the birds eat from their feeders and her favorite color was pink. She was a true animal lover and her cats meant the world to her.
Mrs. Brown is survived by; her parents, Billy Morris Glenn Jr and Denise Flowers Hayles; her step-dad, Terry Hayles; her husband, Jamie Brown; her children, Wyatt McCully and Gracie McCully; her sisters, Tara Hayles, Tiffany (Chad) Wray, Matalyn (Dustin Tolbert) Autrey, Lindsey Agee and Kimberly Glenn; and her brother, David Hayles.
Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her late husband, Brent McCully.
Visitation will be held at Leroy Baptist Church in Leroy, Al on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 12:00 pm, Funeral at 1:00 pm with Bro. Ben Posey officiating and interment to follow at Peniel Cemetery in Jackson, Al
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Stephens Funeral Home for Rachael's funeral expenses.
