Elouise Grimes Wimberly, 77, passed away on April 7, 2022. She was a native of Alabama and a resident of Clarke County, Alabama. Elouise was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Jackson, AL. She was married to Conrad Wimberly over forty years until he passed away at age 61. Elouise had been employed with Vanity Fair at one time. She loved the outdoors and all that went with it, planting vegetable gardens and flower gardens...with her "green thumb." Elouise was an avid deer hunter killing the biggest buck ever recorded at that time, and received a letter from Congressman, Joe Bonner congratulating her. Those that knew Elouise would testify that one of her best attributes was that of a "giver."
She helped so many people in her community in such a way that she will always be remembered...especially at Christmas, making sure children around her had gifts.
Survivors include not only her son, Scott Anthony (Melissa) Wimberly and one granddaughter, Gloria; two sisters, Nora Neel and Amelia Golden; but also her best friend, Patricia Clemons and a second loving family for many years, The Maharreys.
Cherished Sister in law, Louise Grimes; many nieces, nephews, and friends
She was preceded in death by:
Parents ~ Maston Pugh Grimes & Betty Lou Richardson Grimes Atchison

Sisters ~ Vivian "Rip" Laton and Betty Stoker
Brother ~ Harry E. "Bully" Grimes
