With heavy hearts for a life so beautifully and faithfully lived, we announce the passing of Mrs. Eva Juanita (Pat) Tucker Wednesday, February 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Pat was born to William Calvin Richardson and Nora Juanita Carpenter on October 13, 1946, in Tibbie, Alabama. She was a proud graduate of Washington County High School class of 1965. Mrs. Pat was the beloved wife of her high school sweetheart Ernest Tucker for 60 years- a partnership rooted in faith, love, and devotion. Together, they created a life filled with laughter, commitment, service, and prayer. She was his greatest encourager, source of strength, and unwavering hand in faith. The Lord blessed them with four children, Lisa Tucker, Leslie Tucker, Chris Tucker and Ashlie (Brian) Henry. Four grandchildren Bolton (Lauren) Tucker, Blane Vest, Abigail Henry, and Bailey Henry and two great-grandchildren Maevry and Pace Tucker. Mrs. Pat was the backbone of her family and gave her entire heart and soul to her children and grandchildren. Her love for them was unconditional, steadfast, and selfless. She taught by example and instilled kindness, compassion, dedication, and most importantly faith in God. Her greatest joy in life was having a home filled with warmth, laughter, comfort, home cooked meals, and all of her children, grandchildren, and the many others she claimed as her own. In her community, she was known for living a life of service and compassion. Many sought her wisdom, counsel, and compassion. She served the Lord faithfully and wholeheartedly trusting Him in both times of abundance and times of trials. She was an active member of Tibbie Baptist Church where she served faithfully. She graciously volunteered at numerous school and community events. She held pride in being a substitute teacher for many years where she fell in love with each and every student, teacher, and staff member she worked with. It was in her daily life that she exemplified devotion, dedication, generosity, and an unwavering love for others. She leaves behind her beloved husband Alvin Ernest Tucker; her children Leslie Tucker, Chris Tucker, Ashlie (Brian) Henry; grandchildren Bolton (Lauren) Tucker, Blane Vest, Abigail Henry, Bailey Henry; great grandchildren Maevry and Pace Tucker; and stepmother Annie Bell Richardson.
