In Loving Memory of Mrs. Fay McLemore Brown Remembering a Life of Quiet Strength and Character. Mrs. Fay McLemore Brown passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Washington County Nursing Home on July 14, 2025. Mrs. Brown was a woman who cherished solace and valued her privacy. Known for her candid nature, she was never afraid to speak her mind—always true to herself, regardless of whether others agreed. Her personality was both unique and memorable, and she approached life with a quiet strength that deeply touched those around her. Among her favorite pastimes was enjoying Court TV, a simple pleasure that brought her much joy and entertainment. Mrs. Brown’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, as she leaves behind a legacy of authenticity and quietly profound impact. A private memorial will be held at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to your favorite church or charity. May her memory be a blessing to all whose lives she touched. Mrs. Brown is survived by Sons: Jerry (Janice) Brown, Larry Brown. Daughters: Deborah Brown, Susan Holyfield. Brothers: E.J. McLemore Jr. (Jack) Grandchildren: Troy Lynn Whigham (Troy), Johnathon (Saree) Downey, Stephen (Katie) Downey, Candace Roberts, Scotty (Taylor) Brown, Alison (Curtis) Dahl and Robby Brown. Great Grandchildren: William Downey, Savanah Downey, Vincent Morris, Andrew Downey, Logan Whigham, Renae Whigham, Luke Whigham, Lawson Whigham, Tyla Whigham, Quinley Lindsey, Macey Roberts, Saylor Roberts, Kinper Robins, Zeke Dahl, Sammy Dahl, William Brown, Alex Brown, Hayden Brown, Imogene Brown, Claire Brown and Brinnatalie  Brown. 

Preceded in death by: Father: Eugene Jackson McLemore, Mother: Lucy Swann McLemore. Grandchild: Lucie Lightsey Great Grandchild: Ariana Brown
