Fletcher Beech, Sr.

Richard Fletcher Beech, Sr. 83, passed away on November 2, 2018.  He was a native and resident of Washington County.  Fletcher was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church, Hobson, AL. He graduated from Washington County High School and served in the United States National Guard. Fletcher retired from Olin Chemical where he worked as an operator for over 30 years. He was a member of the Chatom Masonic Lodge #740, and a Shriner, thirty second degree. Fletcher loved to watch baseball games, fish and grow vegetable gardens. He made sure he attended all the sports games his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren participated in. Fletcher and Ms. Katherine spent most days together fishing, riding, sight seeing, and traveling.

Visitation will be at St. Stephens Funeral Home on Monday, November 5, 2018 10 ~ 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Bro.William Allison will be officating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Jones-Beech Cemetery.
