Obituary

Fletcher Dean Turner, 81, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the Washington County Hospital in Chatom, Al. Born on August 10, 1941, the Washington County native later graduated from Washington County High School and spent 30 years in the US Air Force. Afterwards, he worked in maintenance with the Washington County School Board for 18 years. The love of his life, though, was his bride of 38 years, Jan Turner. He adored her and lived his life to serve her and make her life better. He will be sorely missed.

Mr. Turner is survived by:

Wife:  Jan Turner

Sons: John (Kim) Turner, Tyler (Penny) Turner, Shawn (Tiffany) Turner,

Daughter: Carrie (Tommy) Adams

Grandchildren: Deana, Hayley, Dean Jr., Teresa, Ashley, Jacob, Logan, Kane, Blake, Zach, Emma, Amber, and Sommer

He was preceded in death by:

Parents: Louise Mott Turner and Otis Turner

Infant Sister: Donnie Louise Turner

Son: Dean Turner

Daughter: Sheila Louise Turner

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Turner Cemetery on Turner Road in Chatom, Alabama.
