Forrest Grey Clarke

Forrest Grey Clarke, 79, of Grove Hill, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1941 to Haston C. and Kathleen Clark.

Forrest worked for Ciba in maintenance until his retirement. He enjoyed family cookouts, hunting, fishing, and working in the yard on his tractor and lawn mower. A member of Penial Baptist Church, he especially enjoyed singing in the choir.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Patricia (Patti) Clarke, parents, brother Jerry Clark, and sister Laura Jean Larrimore.

He is survived by his son Douglas Clarke and wife Judy; two stepdaughters Teresa Ann Burgett and husband Darren, Cindy Alexander and husband Ed; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brothers Lloyd Clark, Ray Clarke and wife Carolyn, George Clarke and wife Ann; and many other relatives.

Graveside services will be June 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Union Baptist Church, Grove Hill, AL. Brother Carey Howard will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
