George Russell Allday

George Russell Allday, 80, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. He was a native of Washington County, Alabama and a resident of Leroy, Alabama. Russell attended Jackson High School and Leroy High School. He was a member of Leroy Baptist Church. Russell was married to his wife Patricia for 57 years. In his younger years Russell liked to hunt and fish. He lived from coast to coast for his work and most people considered him a workaholic. Russell was mostly quiet but could be a jokester at times; he was also a smart thinker. Russell was a fixer upper and could fix everything. He never had to call a repair man. Russell loved his family, friends and most importantly his grands.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, 10:00 - 12:00 Noon, at the Activity Building of the First Baptist Church of Leroy.
