Glenda Joy Dolbear,77, passed away peacefully November 29, 2021. She was born and raised in Jackson, Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Leroy and attended Mr. Joe Pace Palmers Sunday School class. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1962, and attended Faulkner University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 1995. She worked for the state of Alabama in Human Resources until she retired. Glenda enoyed traveling, working in her yard and cooking. She loved her family and friends and will be missed.
She is survived by her son, Jason (Tara) Anderson of St. Stephens, her daughters, Melissa (Robbin) McKee of Jackson, Dalita (Henry) Jackson of Millry, Emily Jones of Chickasaw. Her sisters, Betty Johnson of Millry, Aline Herrin, Ina (Tom) Williamson, Mary (John Butts) Dolbear all of Mobile. Eleven beautiful grandchildren and six beautiful great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 1:00pm at Peniel Church Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Reverend David Delegal with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
