Mr. Henry “Jason” Wynn, 57, of Tibbie, AL, passed from this life on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home. He was born on July 14, 1968, to the late Henry “Buster” Wynn and Carline Henson Wynn. He worked as a foreman for Washington County Road & Bridge.
Mr. Wynn was preceded in death by his father, Buster Wynn; his mother, Carline Wynn; and his granddaughter, Mary Grace Howard. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Howard Wynn; stepmother, Marjorie Bozeman Wynn; one daughter, Gelina Luker (Chris); three sons, Henry Wynn (Amanda), Spencer Howard (Morgan), and Derrick Howard (Allison); 12 grandchildren, Skylar and Bentley Singleton, Raycee Pack, Blake and Brooke Luker, Karsyn Rivers, Adley Wynn, Blakeleigh, Brantley, Jase, Jake and Hollis Howard; two brothers, Johnny Wynn (Sheila), Joseph Wynn; two sisters, Joyce Lafferty (Clay), Buffie Wynn; 2 stepsisters, Sarah Odom (Ray), Amanda Greene (Michael); and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wynn loved spending time outdoors. Fishing, hunting and working on his tractor was where he found his peace. He used these times to contemplate life and solve all the problems of the world.
He was a devoted father, husband, brother, uncle and friend who believed that the most meaningful moments in life were the ones spent together. He loved to bring his family together. Holidays, birthdays, and simple Sunday afternoons often found him standing by a grill or stove, preparing meals with pride and love. For him, cooking was never just about the food — it was about the laughter, stories, and memories shared while everyone gathered close.
More than anything, he was a teacher to his children. Through his example, he instilled in them the importance of family, loyalty, and hard work. He showed them that showing up for the people you love matters, that a strong work ethic builds character, and that a full heart is found in caring for others.
His legacy will live on in the lessons he passed down, the traditions he created, and the countless meals that brought his family together. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he poured into his family will continue to guide them for generations. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish the warmth of his presence and the unforgettable way he made every gathering feel like home.
Services will be held Tuesday, March 17th at Howard town Baptist Church; visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., funeral at 11:00 a.m., with internment at Howard town Cemetery immediately following. Rev. Ray Odom will be officiating.
