James Byron Parnell, 49, passed away on November 14, 2019. He was a graduate of Leroy High School. Byron played football at Leroy and was captain his senior year. He always enjoyed riding and sight seeing on the "back roads." Byron would watch cartoons with his children and grandchildren. He liked the "old" country music and Alan Jackson. Byron was a bit of a mechanic, always tinkering with vehicles. Somebody taught him to dance ("the two-step"). He was a kind hearted man that loved his family very much. Byron is finally resting after an eight year battle with dialysis. He will be missed.
