Obituary
Janger Schell Cartee, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Born September 3, 1956, Mrs. Janger was a native of Washington County, Alabama, and graduated from Jackson Academy. Trained as a dental hygienist, she worked in various jobs before settling into her role as a homemaker. She enjoyed her quiet time reading and drinking coffee with her fur babies around her…Jelly Bean, Tink, and AOIFE held a special place in her heart. Mrs. Janger also loved watching the hummingbirds that would come to her feeders.
She dearly loved, and was loved by, Kenny, her husband of 36 years, her children, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by:

Stepdaughters: Amy (Scott) Gates, Melissa (Brian) Parrish
Brother: Roy (Brenda) Schell
Sister: Jenny (Champ) Bowling
Grandchildren: Briggs Brackin, Finley Brackin
Step-grandchildren: Chase Grana, Haley Wilson, Emily Parrish
Step-great-grandchildren: Sutton Wilson, Sage Wilson, Mia Grana
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Luther W. and Winnie Alston Schell
Sister: Donna Faye Schell
Step-grandson: Jacob Parrish
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Gartman Family Cemetery.
Roy Schell and Bro. Dave Delegal will officiate.
