Jean Evelyn Roberts Dunegan, 82, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Friday morning, May 5, 2023. Born in the Cunningham community on November 24, 1940, Mrs. Jean would go on to live most of her life in Clarke County. Primarily a homemaker, she raised a family of 4 boys and 2 girls. She developed a love for gardening and canning and enjoyed cooking what she grew. She raised her family to be industrious, hard-working people. She dearly loved her children, and later, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her hobby was growing flowers. She was always giving them away, wanting to share the beauty she had been blessed with. An outgoing lady, she loved the family gatherings around the holidays and traveling to visit family. When at home, she loved Hallmark movies and other television shows such as “The Young and The Restless”. She was an avid reader of Amish books and attended Witch Creek Baptist Church while growing up.
