Jeannie Powell Langley, 68, passed away on March 26, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Jeannie was a lover of the simpler things in life, she enjoyed her animals and gardening. She was always a woman with few words, but when she spoke you listened. Jeannie also loved to read and follow politics and would gladly share her opinion whether you ask for it or not. She was inspired to be a writer and even won awards for stories written by her. At one time she worked for Washington County News as a free lance writer. Jeannie was a dreamer and deep thinker with a heart for her family. She spent her last days meditating and studying God's word surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Jeannie was a blessing to her family and those she called her friends. In the end her primary goal was making sure her children were okay. While her earthly presence is sorely missed she is now resting in the arms of Jesus in her heavenly home for eternity.
